We are happy to announce that Butterfly Baskets is partnering with another 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving those impacted by pregnancy and infant loss, Love, Jessica. Love, Jessica's mission is to financially assist families with medical and funeral expenses after a miscarriage or stillbirth. They help ease the financial burden as well as help start the healing process. Since their founding in July 2020, Love, Jessica has paid $13,197 in medical bills on behalf of 46 families in 22 states. We are so glad to share about and partner with this organization doing such important work. Butterfly Baskets will be providing care packages to all families funded by Love, Jessica.
Our new intern, Jenn, worked hard last week preparing and mailing the first set of Butterfly Baskets for Love, Jessica families. The care packages contained our resource pamphlet, a beautiful Lilly Pulitzer journal & pen, fuzzy socks and other butterfly mementos. We hope that these care packages provide a bit of comfort and support to the women and families who receive them.
