I dropped off the first donation of Butterfly Basket bags yesterday. The bags will be given to individuals experiencing a pregnancy loss in the emergency room and the ambulatory surgical unit of the four Main Line Health hospitals. I really appreciate all of the support that we have received at Butterfly Baskets! Preparing these bags has been so healing and meaningful for me. I hope that these items and resources will help people going through pregnancy loss feel supported.
It's been a busy few days administratively as well. I have started receiving our start-up docs and we'll be filing our 501(c)(3) forms soon! I also have been focusing on improving our website so that it is easier to navigate. I plan to update this blog to share about the journey as our organization continues to grow and serve people in our community.
I also started creating additional ways to donate such as by credit card and Venmo through our Givebutter campaign. We are also seeking volunteers as we grow our organization! There are many opportunities for one-time or recurring involvement. Please reach out if you are interested or know someone who might be.
